Glenn Beck, You are suck a jackoff!!

Is glenn beck suggesting that this ship “the audacity of hope” is going to take over/ be the downfall of america???
I truly do not understand what he is trying to get at with that mini-conspiracy theory he threw in there about the name of a boat.

@dannypackage2010 Yes, I totally agree with you. While it’s okay to criticize politcians, it’s not wise for anyone to take it to the extreme like comparing Obama or Bush to evil tyrants like Hitler. This will only add fuel to the fire for the left or right who will plot revenge with extreme harsh criticism on future presidents they don’t like. With these irrational people in media, we’re headed down a road where no one will respect the presidency, but of course not when the media trashes it.

@dannypackage2010 I also recall liberals calling Bush a failure and comparing him to the devil, but they ended up eating their words when Bush was elected twice. So conservatives might want to be careful on how they attack this president because going negative could get him reelected.

I voted for Bush twice. Guys like Beck have eroded the middle’s confidence in the GOP and I wish these guys would start talking positively about the good things about conservatism. We don’t need to call liberals commies and proclaim the death of America. That’s the way quitters talk and that’s not what this country is about.
Stabilizing the HOUSING MARKET needs to be the #1 economic issue - Republicans need to lead here as they have in the past and it’s not happening… Yet.

@TYTARMY I think both suggestions need to be implemented immediately. There’s no reason why Congress can’t have term limits like the? Presidency. I think this is why there’s so much corruption in? Washington. We have politicians that have been in Washington so long that they don’t really campaign for reelection anymore because they know they don’t have to. All they mainly care about is power and the money they make from lobbyists. Most of the bills passed appear to be written by lobbyists.

So I think if you really want the largest AN’s ever seen, Glenn should just get up and do a preemptive move, to upset the illusions on the stage that has been set. He should just get up and walk out into the street and call on people to walk with him to Wall Street, to show people he lives in a real world, with out the studio, and then he should just turn to the camera and say Lets walk to DC, and while on air he could pull it all together, he stays in the comfront of that place and he wants us

@31guitar I had to familiarize myself with the pros and cons of this issue. Realistically assessing the democratic integrity of the current system, and the consequences of repealing the 17th, both good and bad, I have to agree with you. I would suggest campaign financing reform for all of Congress as a better solution, but I would not vehemently oppose your suggestion.

31guitar That’s ok! I’m no fan of the Democrats or Republicans and I don’t see how anyone could support these parties with all the bad decisions they have made over the years. I don’t like government having this much control either especially when you hear about the enormous amounts of tax money the government wastes in programs that benefit the very few, but I do want them to enforce laws such as illegal immigration and do something about our country’s 2 other big problems China & OPEC.

@ronald6838 I also read up that Ike believed in the high income tax rate until the budget was balanced, and because there was a recession in 1953, republicans lost control of congress to democrats which ultimately lead to the high taxes staying in place. I also read that there was slow economic growth under Ike, even with low marginal tax, low unemployment, and relatively balanced budget. This is due to high income tax rates.

@31guitar I went and read a little on Ike, although his income tax was huge, his marginal tax rates I believe were low, as was unemployment and he did have a pretty balanced budget, except for a couple of deficits.

@ronald6838 I just came on to correct myself. Yes I was wrong, and you were right. JFK I think may have been more liberal politically but fiscally he was more conservative. Ike, was a bit more of a progressive and did not hesitate to spend too(building the Highways)

@31guitar The highest income tax rate for the upper 1% in American History happened in 1953 under Dwight Eisenhower it was 92% to be exact. What’s even funnier is when John Kennedy became president he ran on lowering taxes on the wealthy the opposite of what Democrats are doing today.

@salmer666 Aww, why aren’t you the cutest lil’ communist if there ever was one. So sweet. Yeah, good ol’ big gov. will surely be looking out for you. Will give you a big ol’ hug, and candy, lots of coffee too… hmmm.. the warmth.

@TYTARMY If you really want to stop corporations involvement in politics, repeal the 17th amendment, so the senators have are beholden to the state legislators and not corporations who help them get elected. You might think this could lead to cronyism or corruption, but there is an easy fix for that, term limits for congress. Im not attacking you on this, im offering a sensible solution to a problem everybody recognizes

@ronald6838 O, because there was no 90% tax rate under Ike. funny. A little secret, lowering incomes taxes increases revenue. One more weird thing, the lax lending is a result of the CRA passed under Carter. I mean, should we have the banks make sure every person gets their 3-5 servings of veggies too?

@TYTARMY If it gets passed, I will hav to let u know how it goes because The Young Retards wont tell you how it goes when they serve you your next cup of kool-aid

YOU CAN GO TO HELL GLENN BECK go to hell you lying anti american america basher all you do is run down the united states and its elected leaders i would expect that from north Korea or Iran but from a so called patriot??? you and rush and o’reilly and Levin and hanutty will get yours one-day when the goverment pulls you america hating racists off the air GO TO HELL YOU DRUNK.

@31guitar Oh…. That’s what’s gonna happen…. gov control of the entire free market. Well okay then. Good thinking guitar guy. Let me know when that happens okay, just in case I miss it. Man, no one can fool you. You are as sharp as a tack.

@ronald6838 Aren’t you a breath of fresh air. Of course Beck is a shill for the corporate powers that control America. His job is to keep the people at each others throats while they rob us blind. He’s a distraction. Social security is next. They’re coming for it. Thanks for joining the conversation.

@TYTARMY Really? I didn’t know government control of the entire free market system was a republic, I was aware it was a full blown socialist state. What was I thinking?

@31guitar Perhaps you would like to look up the word ‘republic’ and try again.

@matrxmax you’d vote to have your right to vote taken away if your party leaders told you that the opposition party was against it. You’d vote to take your right to vote away and then you’d call republicans “obstructionists” for voting against it. This isn’t a football game. Try to see things from different perspectives. Don’t take your freedom for granted. If anyone is trying to silence a voice, remember that your voice is next.

@TYTARMY Well, TYT might have told you its a good thing, but it will ultimately give the government the power to control electricity use in our homes and tax the shit out of everyone. Its just more government expansion and give the government control over the rest of the free market

This guy must be getting paid by corporations to comment on how bad it is to regulate the banks and tax the wealthy. These are the same banks that almost put America in a depression and millions of Americans in foreclosure with high interest rates. Obama may be a socialist for wanting to raise the tax rate to 39% on the wealthy, but no one talks about the 90% tax rate under Eisenhower. I don’t hear anybody calling him a socialist.
