Credit Cards aren’t bad if you simply pay back what you owe. Thus don’t spend what you can’t afford. Credit cards w/ cash rewards, travel rewards, statement credits, etc are worth it because you save $. Now the idea is to get your ‘cut’ of the company’s profits. If you clip coupons, shop @ thrift shops, and buy what is on sale then using reward cards is no different.

I live within my means, but I don’t live beyond them. I pay the balance in full and use cash rewards in the form of rebate checks. I am one of the cheapest mofos you’ll ever encounter. I have 10 credit cards and only use 1 or two throughout most of the year. Use credit cards to your advantage. For example if you ‘need’ to buy new slacks for work and you have card for the store that affords you 10% off - use it.
Good advice! A credit card can be used to help pay off your mortgage IF you Know the secret.

I use a credit card at any establishment that allows me to. The reason being is my credit card gives me 1-3% cash back on everything I buy. I set my account to be automatically paid in full every month so I never get charged interest. As long as you are disciplined and fully pay off your account every month credit cards that give cash back are great. The reason the credit card companies offer these cards though is because they know so many people aren’t responsible and will rack up a balance.
Credit cards are only good for people that want to live in debt. Living beyond your means is when people need credit. An interesing fact, as credit cards have increased in popularity the nation has increased in personal debt. DEBT FREE IS THE WAY TO BE. Finaincial independence is not found in a piece of plastic. That is finaincial DEPENDENCE on a credit card company. CASH spends easier than credit and I know that it is accepted EVERYWHERE with no minimum purchase and NO INTEREST.
